![]() ![]() ![]() Although I do find the general storyline of Tomi Ungerer’s 1963 Crictor somewhat amusing (and yes, I have certainly found the serpentine alphabet and numbers, not to mention how Crictor fights off the burglar sufficiently engaging), since I have never been all that much a fan of either cartoon-like illustrations or in fact snakes in general, I really cannot say that I have all that much truly enjoyed Crictor on both a reading pleasure and visual aesthetics level. ![]()
